Coffee Source with Sustainable Growing Practices
In order to maintain the sustainability of our supply chain, we have developed 3,412 acres of coffee plantation in Pakpak Bharat, North Sumatra.
FandB Tech Indonesia Plantation is a lust mountainous area with an altitude of 1,100-1,300m above sea level. Fertile areas and the cold caused by the eruption of Mount Merapi which formed Lake Toba. This plantation is located a very strategic area, due it is flanked by two famous Arabica coffee producing areas; Takengon (Gayo) and Sidikalang (Mandheling). Volcanic soil is very fertile because ot contatins high nutrients when a volcane erupts.
Here we have been implementing tree rejunaveting, replanting, and sustainable farming practices, while maintaining excellent relationship with the neighboring communities. The plantation itself is, so far, the largest plantation that ever owned by a private sector in Indonesia. Developing the plantation is another step as out endeavor to become the finest Indonesia coffee source.

Processing Plant
The processing of our coffee beans takes place in modern plants and upholds international standarts of quality. However, we rather combine traditional methods with edvanced technologies while catering to the global market, to sustain the distinctive characteristics of Indonesia’s finest coffee.
Traditionally, Sumateran coffee is processed with the wet hulling method (giling basah). Here, parchment of skin is removed (hulled) while the beans are still moist and resilient (wet). However, recently the wet hulling process has been refined with better fruit selectioin and processing, more precie timing of hulling, more coreful drying practice, and better handling and shipping of finished coffee.
FandB Tech Indonesia’s processing is subject control, in accordance to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other international standarts. Our coffee beans are hulled with the wet hulled method, sun-dried twice, screened with Sutton and Sieve machines, and then manually are carefully sorted before packed in jute bags and stored in special warehouse

Growing within the changing landscape of the global coffee industry, FandB Tech Indonesia has been developed out export business by widening our assortment of coffee varietas, ranging from the finest Arabica coffee Sumatra, to those of Java, Bali, Flores, Sulawesi, and Papua, as well as Robusta coffee from Sumatra.

Complementing our expertise in providing coffee beans, we also supply various coffee machines to support hotel, reataurant and cafe. This HORECA segment is included in our retail and the coffee machine support evolves as the part of our main business.
